The Preliminary Examination will consist of one paper of Objective Type containing 200 Multiple Choice Questions. The paper will carry 200 marks and will be of 2(Two) and Half an Hours duration. A)Scheme of Examination:
The examination will be held in three successful stages:
1) Preliminary Examination
2) Final Examination
3) Personality Test WBPSC Miscellaneous Preliminary Exam pattern
The examination will consist of only one paper containing 100 Multiple choice objective type questions carrying 2 marks each on General Studies (150 marks) and Arithmetic (50 Marks) and having duration 1 hr 30 min. The preliminary examination will be a screening test for selection the candidates for admission to the final examination.
WBPSC Miscellaneous Final Examination Pattern
> Question will be Conventional type
> Total Marks 450
> Papers I & II will be 150 marks and 1 hour 30 minute
> Papers III will be 150 marks and 50 marks for Arithmetic & 2 hour 30 marks
> Question will be Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali Language
> The exam of the all papers will be held in same days.
Personality Test The total marks of Personally Test is 100 marks. A limited number of candidates selected merit-wise on the results of the Final examination will be called to the Personality Test.
