It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta. Eligibility Criteria for Victoria Institution (College) Admission 2019
Educational Qualification : Aggregate is total of best four subjects excluding Compulsory Environmental Studies for all boards including West Bengal Higher Secondary Council. Passed Class XII (10+2) from a recognized Board, Council, University with English as a compulsory language and at least 4 other subjects. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary(10+2) examination or its equivalent qualification from recognized Board/Institute and should have 45% aggregate in H.S. standard can apply for this mentioned courses. Candidate cannot apply for any Honours courses of any stream if he/she secured less than 45% marks in that subject. All the candidates who have passed HS exam or its equivalent can apply for General courses.
For SC or ST Candidates–
Eligibility criteria for SC/ST in all HONOURS Subject:- Aggregate= 40% And 40% in Subject or Related Subjects.
Admission Fees : Admission fees amounting to Rs.200/-
